The quartet reconvened in 2009 to record \u003cb\u003eGrinderman 2\u003c\/b\u003e, which was released on 13th September 2010. Recorded in 2009 at London’s RAK, State of The Ark and Assault and Battery studios the album was co-produced by Grinderman and Nick Launay and mixed by Launay at London’s British Grove in August 2009 and LA’s Seedy Underbelly in April 2010. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"\u003eExploring more psychedelic territory than its predecessor, \u003ci\u003eGrinderman 2\u003c\/i\u003e is a looser and more experimental record. With their raw bluesy-garage rock infusing with these diverse influences, this is a hallucinatory and sonically sound album. \u003ci\u003eGrinderman 2\u003c\/i\u003e includes the single \"Heathen Child\" and \"Worm Tamer\". Their second and final album, in December of 2011 Cave announced the band's breakup at a music festival in Australia.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"\u003e\u003ci\u003eGrinderman 2 \u003c\/i\u003eis available on black eco-vinyl and comprises of the entire album together with a 16-page booklet complete with lyrics and illustrations by Ilinca Hopfner.
